Police are hunting for two female intruders after an 82-year-old woman was confronted in her bedroom.
Police said the two women appeared to have entered the address in Alexandra Street, Liversedge, by an open front door at around noon yesterday.
One of the women managed to get upstairs and into the occupant's bedroom before she was discovered.
She was described as white, with sharp facial features and dark hair covered by a hat or hood. She was about 30, of medium build, and 5ft 6in. She was wearing dark trousers and a black zip-up jacket.
The second suspect was described as white, aged 20 to 30, chubby, with light brown hair also covered by a hat or hood. She was slightly shorter than the other intruder and was wearing dark clothing.
The two women, one of whom was downstairs, fled after the woman's husband shouted at them to get out.
