The Bronte Parsonage Museum at Haworth has been awarded a £17,000 Arts Council grant to commission a new body of work by Swiss artist Annelies Strba.
The work will be displayed at the Haworth museum later this year, as part of its contemporary arts programme.
Annelies will produce digitally manipulated photographic images inspired by the Brontes and the parsonage.
Jenna Holmes, arts officer at the museum, said: "This project will build on our reputation for bold visual arts projects, allowing visitors to experience the Brontes in new ways and hopefully attract new audiences here too.
"We are very grateful to the Arts Council for the funding. The grant will also give us the opportunity to acquire some of the work produced as a permanent addition to the collection."
Annelies has exhibited at galleries across the world.
Her work is inspired by a diverse range of locations and subjects, from the gloom of Auschwitz to the story of the Cottingley Fairies, and she has already produced some Bronte-related pieces.
The parsonage exhibition will run from August 1 to October 31.
