Glamorous models strode down the catwalk to help raise thousands of pounds for a £1.4million centre for people suffering from cancer.

Wearing the latest spring/summer ranges from two clothes shops, they impressed more than 150 visitors to the charity fashion show at Bradford Grammar School last night.

Fashionistas enjoyed the red carpet treatment with champagne and canapes before settling down to watch the main event.

The show featured ranges from Pudsey's Rag Doll Boutique and formal and casual wear by Keighley-based David Petyt Menswear.

It was to support The Cancer Support Daisy Appeal, which is just £100,000 away from its target of £1.4million. The money will pay for a new cancer support centre.

Linda Enderby, fundraising co-ordinator for Bradford Cancer Support, said: "It was a fabulous evening, we have seen a lot of fantastic outfits and we are extremely grateful to the proprietors from Rag Doll and David Petyt for supporting the appeal."
