A Bradford betting shop has given a free £100 bet on tomorrow's Grand National to the Telegraph & Argus Listening for Life appeal.
Comply Or Die, chosen by fundraising manager Breeda Barry, has been backed to win at odds of 10-1, which would win £1,100. If the horse fails to win, Ladbrokes will donate the £100 to the appeal.
The Listening for Life appeal aims to raise £1.5 million to complete the Ear Trust charity's £2.5 million cochlear implant centre in the grounds of Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Mrs Barry said: "This is a fantastic gesture."
Ladbrokes manager Martyn Bruce said: "This is such a worthy cause which we are happy to support."
