People in Bradford will be able to vote for the most stylish businesses and individuals in the Asian Style Awards this weekend.

The awards, running for the first time this year, aim to highlight businesses which have made a major contribution to the South Asian fashion and beauty industry.

Categories include: Best Boutique, Best Salon, Best fashion Designer, Best make-up artist; Best Hairstylist, Best Henna Artist, Greatest Contribution to Asian Style in the UK, and Best Textile Fabric Retailer.

There are also two individual awards for Best New Asian Face, male and female.

On Sunday the Asian Style Awards Roadshow arrives in Bradford at two locations.

The ASA's pink mini-bus will be at White Abbey Road from 11am to 3.30pm and Leeds Road from 3.30pm to 7pm. There will be music, entertainment, free tea and coffee and balloons and sweets for children.

Nomination forms and copies of Asian Style Awards will be available at the roadshow. The closing date for nominations in all categories is the end of April. The awards ceremony will take place in London in July at a time and place to be announced.
