John Tretton, of no fixed address, was remanded in custody by Bingley magistrates on Wednesday accused of threatening to set fire to a flat in Parkwood Rise, Keighley, intending the tenant would fear the threat would be carried out.
He was committed for trail at Bradford Crown Court on Monday, April 14.
