Voodoo Six are bringing their brand of classic rock to town.

With their debut album First Hit For Free and new single Faith released last month, the rockers are taking the live version on tour around the UK.

Already selected as one of Classic Rock magazine's tips for 2008 and with support from XFM and Kerrang, they're not to be missed.

Voodoo Six draw heavily on the classic traditions of British hard rock from the Seventies and early Eighties, while retaining an exciting, contemporary edge.

Bassist Tony Newton and drummer Dave Grav' Cavill have toured with the likes of Iron Maiden, UFO and Dio, drawing on their influences to create their own sound. Soon they'd added guitar players, Matt Pearce and Chris Jones, and topped it all off with the vocals of Henry Rundell.

First Hit For Free has been re-mixed by legendary Canadian engineer Mike Fraser, who has worked with Van Halen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Metallica, Thunder and The Cult.

  • Voodoo Six are at Gasworks in Bradford on April 18.
