Bradford-based law firm Gordons is to host a multimedia construction law seminar at Wetherby Racecourse next month.

The free seminar, entitled The Hotel from Hell', will use an interactive video case study of a typical commercial development scheme based around a luxury five star hotel.

Using lawyers and support staff at Gordons, the video demonstrates various issues arising out of a construction project including delays, costs over-running and defective works.

Experts from the construction team at Gordons will explore the strategic options and solutions for each issue.

Richard Piper, head of Gordons' construction department, said: "We wanted to create a seminar with a difference. Rather than simply explain the potential issues that can arise in a typical construction project, we decided to bring them to life using a video-based case-study.

"The result is an informative and interactive seminar that engages the audience and provides them with the very latest information on construction law issues. This is the third time we have used this format, and to date it has been hugely popular."
