AN investigation is under way after pictures revealed plants outside a Bradford home which was damaged by fire this morning.

Two appliances from Bradford Fire Station and one from Fairweather Green were called at 5am to reports of a house fire at Stanmore Place, Lidget Green.

A spokesperson from Fairweather Green Fire Station said crews used four breathing apparatus as they battled the fire.

Once the fire was extinguished, a fan was used to clear the smoke.

At around 9am this morning, the spokesperson added: "The crews are damping down and cutting away now to make the scene safe.

"The cause of the fire is still under investigation."

When the T&A went to Stanmore Place later this morning, police cars were at the scene, the door to the home had been removed and several plants were piled outside the property,
