It was the play that exposed a naked Daniel Radcliffe to West End audiences - and now Equus is heading for Bradford.
After Peter Shaffer's play opened at the National Theatre in 1973 it became a worldwide sensation.
Last year, a new production opened in London starring Richard Griffiths and Daniel Radcliffe who is, of course, best known as the bespectacled Harry Potter.
This spring, the play hits the road on a UK tour starring Simon Callow and Alfie Allen, left.
Most recently seen in last year's hit movie Atonement, Alfie is the latest rising star of the Allen family - he's brother of pop star Lily and son of actor Keith.
In Equus, psychiatrist Martin Dysart is brought the most testing case of his career by magistrate Hester Saloman, (played by former Avengers actress Linda Thorson, who's also known as superbitch Rosemary King in Emmerdale).
Dysart has the task of trying to cure 17-year-old Alan Strang whose obsession with horses and an encounter with stablehand Jill has led him to behave in the most devastating way.

Equus runs at the Alhambra from April 28 to May 3. For tickets ring (01274) 432000.
