Police are questioning a 45-year-old man in connection with a reported armed robbery at a city centre jewellers.
Officers were alerted just before 5pm on Monday to the incident at the shop in Kirkgate, where a man was alleged to have threatened staff at gunpoint and fled towards Forster Square train station with an amount of money.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said a Bradford man had been arrested in Leeds today on suspicion of robbery and remained in custody.
