A cash machine was ripped from the wall during a ram raid at the Co-op store in Station Road, Oxenhope, early today.
Detectives were at the scene this morning.
A vehicle believed to have been involved in the incident was reported to have been recovered.
A Co-operative spokesman confirmed a cash machine had been stolen in the raid although it was later recovered.
He said it was hoped the store would re-open later today after emergency repairs.
"There is damage to a door frame, shutters and some fixtures and fittings," said the spokesman.
"The store will be closed while repairs are made, however, we expect it will be business as usual from later today.
"Our sincere apologies to our customers for any inconvenience this may cause."
