Police are investigating an alleged assault on a man who was forced into a car in Bradford city centre.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident outside a take-away in Westgate, Bradford at about 7pm last Saturday.

Two Asian men in their late teens were approached by two other Asian men who threatened them.

There was an altercation and they were then forced into a silver Audi A6.

The vehicle was driven to the Forster Square Royal Mail sorting office where both victims were ordered out of the Audi, with one of them being allowed to escape.

Another vehicle - a grey Nissan Skyline - then pulled up and its occupant got out and joined the two suspects from the Audi.

All three then allegedly assaulted the remaining man before making off in the two separate vehicles.

The first of the two men in the Audi is described as Asian, in his late 20s to early 30s, about 6ft 5ins tall, stocky build with long black curly hair and a small black hairline on his chin.

The second man is described as Asian, in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with black hair, a beard and wearing a hat.

l A 22-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
