Police were called to reports of a sudden death in Otley yesterday, the Force has confirmed.
Officers were scrambled to St Clair Road in the early afternoon.
An onlooker reported that there was a large police presence near the junction between Pool Road and St Clair Road, and the fire brigade also attended the scene.
Emergency services attended the scene and the body of a man was discovered at around 12.40 pm.
Enquiries are ongoing but at this time, the incident is not being treated as suspicious.
