Permission has been granted for a new chalet park to be built in woods in Gargrave.
Craven District Council has approved plans for 17 three-bedroom chalets and caravans to be built in the plantation on Marton Road, between High Mill and Paradise Cottages.
An access road will also be created in the woodland.
The plans for the park were opposed by local residents, and 23 conditions have been attached to the final approval.
One of the conditions is that the chalets cannot be occupied between January 1 and February 28 each year, to avoid them being used as residential properties.
