Sunday Alliance League Premier Division leaders Bradford Park Avenue Rangers switched their away fixture against West Bowling to a home one but it was the visitors who came away with the spoils.

The hosts moved into the lead in just the second minute with a well-taken goal by Chimo Monondo but could not add to their lead and paid the price for missing chances.

Chris Wood equalised early in the second half, Damian Melville put Bowling in front and they could even afford a penalty miss before Wood sealed a 3-1 win with his second.

Ventus Sports missed a great chance to go top when they lost 4-2 at home to basement outfit Prune Park.

Saul Peltier scored in the first half for the hosts but strikes by Jamie Hardman and James Sharpe gave the visitors a half-time lead.

Peltier scored a second but it was to no avail because Hardman again and Kyle Richardson netted for the visitors to give them their second victory of the season.

Derek Rouse hit a brace for Bolton Woods which, along with a strike from Gary Birch, gave the visitors a 3-2 win in a thriller at Manningham Ward. Ryan Canning and Leon Moore scored for the hosts.

Albion Sports took an early lead against Oakenshaw at Avenue Road but an equaliser with ten minutes to go by Marcus Davey made sure the points were shared.

Buttershaw White Star moved into joint-second place with a Mark Flanagan penalty after five minutes and a strike by Andy Butterworth before the interval in a 2-0 win against Queensbury. Defeat for the visitors dumped them bottom.

Westwood Park moved to the top of Division One with a convincing 4-0 win at Oakworth Juniors. Leading goalscorer PeterEllis gave the visitors the lead and further strikes came from Mark Price, Andy King and Dave Armitage.

Veteran Chris Peltier, aged 42, donned his goalscoring boots in hitting four for Bradford Irish Club in a 7-4 win at Wibsey WMC. The two Hannan brothers, Anthony and Mathew, and Joe Dunsworth also scored for the visiting team. Carl Yewdall, with a brace, Rob Rowntree and Craig Brearley replied for the hosts.

A youthful Wyke Wanderers visited Arkwright Street to face Tyersal and in a interesting first half, Ben Kendall put the hosts in front after 20 minutes with a strike in off the crossbar.

But sustained pressure from the visitors resulted in Aidan Day equalising for Wanderers ten minutes before the break.

Wyke keeper James Cooke was in superb form and pulled off three stunning saves in the first half.

There was no addition to the scoring in the second half as both teams took one point from a tense fixture.

Wrose Bull leapfrogged hosts Dudley Hill after winning a mid-table battle 5-2. Leaders Relay Recruitment could only manage a point against Clayton Orient in a 2-2 draw.

Bottom-of-the-table Ring O Bells secured their first win of the season when they beat visitors Eastward by the odd goal in three, James Mularkey and Peter Dawson scoring for the hosts.

In Division 1A, league leaders Britannia Shipley fell to their second league defeat of the season when they were beaten by a 25th minute strike by Otley Road's Chris McArthur.

Mid-table Cuedos Rangers edged a tight game 3-2 against Hudsons.

Division 1B league leaders Junction Thorn-bury were held to a goalless draw against Craven Heifer.

Saltaire Rangers moved up the table to fifth spot when they beat White Eagles 2-0.

James Hastings and George Alb-erto were the men on target for the hosts.
