The Flying Squirrel will open in the new Quora Retail Park, Clayton Road
A NEW pub and carvery will open later this month.
The finishing touches and final staff training are underway in preparation for the opening of the Flying Squirrel in Lidget Green's new Quora Retail Park on November 26.
The pub is part of an ongoing new build programme from Marston’s Inns and Taverns.
The Flying Squirrel is a nod to the area's local history, with the pub built on the land previously owned by the renowned Scott Motorcycle Company.
“There has been a lot of work gone into making sure the pub is ready for opening and I speak for the whole team when I say we’re looking forward to welcoming our new customers. We welcome everybody to come and raise a glass to our opening,” said pub manager Tim Smith.
