A man who has never passed his driving test has been banned for six months under the totting-up procedure.
Christopher Thornber, 23, was driving a works van when he was stopped for speeding in Keighley Road, Skipton, on April 23, the town's magistrates heard.
Thornber, of Whinny Gill Road, Skipton, was doing 43mph in a 30mph zone and was driving without a full licence. He was also stopped by police on March 2 in Shortbank Road, Skipton, when he again had no licence, no test certificate and no insurance.
For speeding on April 23, he was fined £60, his licence was endorsed with four penalty points and he was ordered to pay £20 costs.
For having no licence on the same day, his licence was endorsed and he was fined £60 and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
For driving a car without insurance on March 2 he was fined £100 and his licence was endorsed. For not having a full licence, his licence was endorsed, he was fined £60 and ordered to pay £20 costs. He was also fined £20 for driving a car without a test certificate.
