THE winner of this year’s Bradford Classic car show, held in City Park and the Broadway, has been announced.
Judges chose a 1957 coral pink Ford Zephyr, belonging to Alec Edwards, as the best in show.
Runners up included Geoff Stanley’s 1973 Fiat 500 Flossie, and Andy Harrison’s 1968 BMC 1800 London to Sydney rally car.
Crowds flocked to the city centre to see the vast collection of rare and iconic cars, and plans for an expanded show next year are already underway.
Head judge Tony Bhogal, pictured left, managing director of Autoelectro, said: “In terms of visitors and exhibitors, the turnout was amazing.
“There was such an array of cars, which made judging very difficult, but the winners deserved their accolades.
“The glorious weather made it an even more enjoyable occasion.”
