A BRADFORD pizza store manager has been named Domino's Rookie Manager of the Year.

Roman Rajnovic took over the management of the firm's Eccleshill branch in January 2017 and has now beaten hundreds of others across the country to win the prestigious pizza prize.

The nationwide award is given to a store manager who has been in charge for less than 18 months. Strict targets for sales and store standards must be achieved in order to qualify.

Roman swept the board on almost every measure, excelling at people development through intensive and targeted training.

Of his win, he said: “I’m thrilled to have won the Rookie Manager of the Year award, it is such a respected achievement within Domino’s and I am honoured to have been selected this year.

"In my job I’ll always offer my full self in every situation I find myself in, and this award really shows that what I’m doing in life is the right thing!”

The Domino's annual awards recognise hard work across the company's 1,192 stores in the UK and Ireland.
