YOUNG people have been carrying out voluntary work in Queensbury as part of their National Citizen Service project.
The team worked in Littlemoor Park in Queensbury building bug hotels to provide a safe habitat for insects in the park to build a home and thrive.
Marium Zumeer, who was part of the volunteer group, said: “Our team’s project was to engage with the Littlemoor Park community and help them build the bug hotels for a safer environment.
“This bug hotel will help millions of creatures, and also this bug hotel is appealing for children as they can see how the bug hotel is used.
“A lot of thought was put into this project and we hope the community in the heart of Queensbury are happy and have benefitted from our work.”
