A BRADFORD club will celebrate its 30th anniversary with an eleven day festival starting on Friday.
The 1 in 12 Club was set up as an anarchist club in the early 80s, designed to provide social events for the low waged and unemployed, and has been based in its current building on Albion Street in 1988.
To mark the 30th anniversary of the club’s building, there will be numerous concerts and events at the club.
These start on Friday with a Punk all dayer featuring performances from the Petrol Girls, Bratakus and Brian Curran.
On Saturday there will be a “fastcore” all day concert while Sunday will see a family friendly reggae themed day, featuring locally produced vegan food.
On Tuesday the club has organised a parade through Bradford followed by a picnic in Centenary Square to mark International Workers Day.
There will be concerts or events every day until Monday May 7.
