POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a crash on the M62 that left a man in "serious" condition.
The incident happened at 8:10am on Saturday on the west bound carriageway near the Hartshead Moor services.
The crash involved a Vauxhall Insignia and a Renault Master Panel van.
As a result of the incident, a man in the Insignia was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Anyone who witnessed the crash has been asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 496 of Saturday April 21.
