A GROUP of men left their stash of drugs behind when they were cornered by police in a cul-de-sac.
Officers on patrol in Keighley on Tuesday afternoon spotted the three men in a red VW at the bottom of Simpson Street.
On noticing the officers, the men jumped out the car and ran off, abandoning the vehicle at the bottom of the road - which is blocked off to traffic.
After searching the car, police found a cardboard Benson and Hedges cigarette box containing wraps of what is believed to be illegal drugs (pictured).
PC Caroline Foster sent out a Tweet directed at the men, saying: “If you want your car back do get in touch.
“Don’t worry, your stash hasn’t been stolen. I’ve taken it for safe keeping.”
