THE Bradford Lions are to host a 10k Charity Walk in support of Marie Curie’s hospice in Bradford later this month.
The walk will take place in Lister Park on Saturday, April 28, and continues Bradford Central Lions’ support for the hospice. Earlier this month the community group raised over £500 at Asda on Rooley Lane with a Marie Curie Daffodil collection.
Bradford Central Lions are part of a wider global group that aims to put community at the heart of everything it does.
The Lions have also already held a charity banquet in support of the Marie Curie Bradford Hospice which relies almost entirely on donations to provide specialist palliative care.
All ages and abilities are welcome to take part in the walk, with admission free.
Bradford Lions members are pictured at a previous Daffodil collection in Asda.
