A “WORLD War One village” will be set up in Bradford as part of this year’s Armed Forces Day celebrations.
The event will take place on Saturday June 30, with events running from 11am to 4pm.
There will be a Drumhead service at Bradford city cenotaph, followed by family activities based in a WW1 village in the temporary garden space in City Park.
Charities and Armed Forces Covenant Partners will also host stalls in the village offering information, advice and activities.
The event has been described as “An opportunity for all our communities to come and support our Armed Forces and celebrate their contribution both here at home and abroad.”
Last year the service attracted over 400 people, made up of veterans, serving military personnel, Council and church dignitaries and the public.
