THE driver of a 4x4 vehicle has been reported after driving across a playing field in Lidget Green.
Officers from Bradford West Neighbourhood Policing Team identified the driver thanks to held from members of the public.
The driver, in a Mitsubishi Shogun, had been driving across the playing fields at the junction of Woodhead Road and Summerville Road, which is used by local amateur football club Alpha United Juniors.
It is often damaged by anti-social behaviour, and left unplayable by people riding quad bikes across the pitch.
The driver has been reported for inconsiderate driving in a public place.
In a Facebook post from Bradford West NPT, it said: "Anti-social use of this particular field is being closely monitored by the ASB bike team who are in direct communication with residents.
"Vehicles are for roads, not football pitches!"
Alpha United Juniors, founded in 2013, has previously been named the FA Club of the Year, and was founded to help children get active in a safe fun environment and progress to playing matches in an organised league.
It runs sessions for children aged four to 21-year-olds, and for more information about the club call alphaunitedjuniors.com.
