LATEST: Four men remain in police custody after six stabbings in Bradford

SEVEN people have been arrested after six men were stabbed during a disorder at a Bradford nightclub.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the incident at Club Railway, in Wakefield Road, in the early hours of this morning.

Earlier today a number of police vehicles had been seen parked outside the nightclub and officers were seen scouring the surrounding buildings.

A cordon had been placed near Decorative Glass Supplies and CH Wood Security.

Inspector Graham Hawcroft of West Yorkshire Police said: "Police received a call from Bradford Royal Infirmary at 4.30am to say a male had presented with stab wounds.

"At 4.50am and 4.58am, further calls were made of males attending other hospitals in Leeds and Huddersfield.

"It appears there has been a disturbance at Club Railway, possibly involving two gangs. Police are now interviewing the victims and making investigations.

"We believe the injuries the victims have suffered are not life-threatening."

Detective Inspector Ria Holmes, of Bradford CID, said: “I would like to appeal to members of the public who were in the nightclub itself (Sunday) evening, into the early hours or in the vicinity and witnessed anything in connection with this incident.

“I would urge anyone with any information to come forward and speak to the police to assist with our inquiries.”
