SIR - With City’s game off on Saturday due to the waterlogged pitch, I noticed a number of supporters wearing their claret and amber colours attending Avenues game at the Horsfall.
I understand there were some very good comments regarding their experience. It takes me back to my days in the mid 50s when I would be taken one week to the City and the next week to the Avenue.
It would be marvellous if the respective leagues could arrange next years fixtures I such a way that one team was at home every week ensuring the sporting public could enjoy the best of both worlds just as I was able to in my youth.
I notice that City have no match this week the 17th whilst Avenue are at home to Telford. It is an opportunity to get behind both Bradford teams.
