A LARGE police cordon was in place in Shipley following reports of an assault on a woman.
The woman reported the assault herself to staff at the Nisa Local convenience store in Valley Road, Shipley, who contacted police at just after 5.50am today.
A large grass bank on Valley Road was cordoned off this morning.
The scene included a marked police cars and a mixture of police officers and police community support officers attended.
The car park of Nisa Local formed part of the taped off area.
