AN outbreak of disorder in central Keighley yesterday afternoon (January 30) left two people in hospital with serious injuries and four people in police custody.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed today that the incident is still being investigated, and appealed for witnesses or anyone else with information on the offences to come forward.
A spokesman for the police said: "Officers arrested four people following disorder in Keighley town centre on Tuesday afternoon.
"Three males aged 14, 16 and 27, along with a 17-year-old female were arrested in relation to public order offences.
"Two males were taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries which were not thought to be life threatening, and a further male was treated at the scene.
"Enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances around this incident and a number of crimes have been recorded for further investigation.
"Anyone who can assist with these matters is asked to contact police at Keighley on 101, quoting log numbers 1176 or 1268 of January 30."
