BUILDING work on 45 new homes in Apperley Bridge is set to get underway in March.
National construction firm Bellway is carrying out the building work on the banks of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal for the new estate, Stone Bridge View.
It will be made up of two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom homes, for families, up and downsizers and first-time buyers.
Each property will have open plan designs, gardens, and off-street parking.
Paula Murdoch, Bellway Yorkshire's sales manager, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have obtained this new site and can’t wait to begin working on it.
"The plans for Stone Bridge View are brilliant, and given the successes we’ve had on our other developments in and around Bradford, we are extremely confident that we’ll see more of the same here.
“Our intention with Stone Bridge View is to build a development that will sit perfectly within the attractive surrounds of Apperley Bridge, and become somewhere people will be proud to call home.”
