Lengthy delays as crash on M606 closes two lanes
A CRASH between two cars on the M606 has led to lane closures and heavy congestion this morning.
A 23-year-old woman has been taken to hospital to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash, which happened at 7.30am.
The crash led to debris beign scattered across the motorway, and two lanes were closed on the M606 Northbound at J3 Rooley Avenue, near the Astonish building.
It has lead to massive congestion on the M606, with cars queuing back to the M62 slip road.
The lanes have now been re-opened.
It is thought a Renault van and a black Hyundai were among the vehicles involved.
