A JURY will continue its deliberations tomorrow in the trial of a teacher turned martial arts fighter who is accused of rape and other sexual offences.
Brad Conway, 36, (pictured) formerly of Wibsey, is charged with nine counts of rape, two of sexual assault, two of voyeurism and single charges of harassment to commit rape and false imprisonment.
The allegations are against five separate women.
Closing his defence evidence on Tuesday this week at Bradford Crown Court, Conway told the jury: “I would never, ever rape a girl, ever.
“Just because I have made some mistakes... that does not make me a rapist.”
The defence in the case is that the sexual activity with the complainants was consensual and sex tapes shown to the jury earlier in the trial had been submitted by his defence barrister.
