BRADFORD Council has given the go ahead for a Leeds Road shop to be converted into a restaurant.
The unit, 348-350 Leeds Road, currently Shafson Fabrics, was recently put on the market due to plans to re-locate the business.
Planning officers have granted permission to Shakeel Khan to convert the building, on the corner of Leeds Road and Buck Street, as well as creating a new shop front and window.
There had been one objection - raising parking issues and saying there was “no need” for a restaurant there.
While there was no off street parking, Council highways officers had not objected to the plans, adding: “The current shop use will bring with it, its own parking demands.”
One condition is that the business cannot open between 11pm and 8am.
