Police have issued an appeal for information over the incident in High Street, Heckmondwike
A MAN is in hospital with "serious" head injuries after reportedly being attacked outside a school in Heckmondwike.
The 48 year-old was involved in what police described as an "incident" outside the school at around 6.15pm on Tuesday.
He is currently receiving ongoing treatment in Leeds General Infirmary.
Anyone with any information about the incident, or who saw anything suspicious in the area, is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting log number 733 of October 11.
