BRADFORD College will host the Lord Mayor of Bradford’s Charity Appeal Dinner on Monday, September 25.

Held in the college’s David Hockney Building, the dinner will raise money for two charities chosen by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Abid Hussain (pictured).

Benefitting from the event are the Bingley-based Down’s Syndrome Training and Support Service and The Wishing Well Appeal, which provides small grants for organisations and smaller groups.

The food for the dinner will be prepared and served by students studying catering and hospitality at the College and there will be entertainment from students and staff from the music department.

Tickets for the event cost £32.14 each - £30 goes to the charities and £2.14 is the website charge for collecting the payment.
