AN adults-only event based on the theme of space will be held at the National Science and Media Museum later this month.

The next of the museum’s Lates events, which see the museum opened after hours for over 18s only, will tie in with the museum’s next major exhibition - of British astronaut Tim Peake’s Soyuz TMA-19M space module (pictured).

Held on Thursday September 28, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, the event will allow adults to get up close to the module that brought Peake from the International Space Station back down to Earth.

There will be numerous activities, talks and workshops through the evening, and visitors will be able to learn more about Mission Principia and explore how satellite technology can help us to see and hear into the unknown.

The event is free, and the full line up will be announced closer to the date.
