PUPILS at David Hockney’s former school have queued up to sign a giant card wishing him a happy 80th birthday.
Bradford Council’s museum services is aiming to break the world record for the number of people to sign a card - they need 22,000 signatures on the giant, Hallmark designed card to break the record.
On Thursday the card was in Bradford Grammar School, where hundreds of pupils, including Amelia Lane, pictured, took the chance to sign their name to wish the former alumnus all the best for his 80th.
On Saturday the card was in the Broadway Shopping Centre, where hundreds more people took the opportunity to put their name to the record attempt. People can also sign the card online by visiting https://goo.gl/HFiD9
