Motorists face delays on the M62 this morning following an earlier accident.
Highways England said a vehicle had overturned on the eastbound carriageway between Junction 25 (Brighouse) and 26 (Chain Bar) at around 6am.
Traffic was diverted via Hartshead Moor services and the motorway was closed while recovery work got underway.
Further delays are likely due a broken down HGV at Junction 24 on the eastbound stretch of the motorway. Highways England has warned people to allow extra time for their journeys.
