A JUNIOR football team’s achievements have been celebrated at City Hall.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Abid Hussain, met members of Bradford’s Alpha United Junior Football Club today.
Around 150 children aged six to 16 play in the club, based at Woodhead Road in Bradford. They play in the Craven, Aire and Wharfe Junior League.
Last year, they were awarded the FA Charter Standard Club of the Year.
They were also special guests of the English FA at a recent Arsenal v Chelsea Community Shield match.
