A MAN suffered "extensive" facial injuries after being knocked down during an argument in a Brighouse take away.
The incident happened between 1am and 1.30am on Sunday inside Dino’s Pizza takeaway on Bethel Street.
Police are now appealing to the public to help locate a man who was in the take away at the time.
It is alleged that a man entered the store to intervene in an ongoing argument and became involved in it. He then hit the victim in the face.
The victim then fell down and hit his head. He suffered extensive facial injuries as a result of the incident.
A man officers want to speak to in connection with the incident is described as white, 5’6” tall and aged in his mid to late 20s.
He was of medium build and wearing a burgundy long-sleeved top with a yellow bird emblem of it and blue jeans.
He had a bushy beard and was thought to be with a blonde haired male in a light blue T-shirt.
