A MENSTON couple are appealing for information about the theft of a garden sculpture and sundial which were taken from their home last week.
The sculpture and sundial were stolen from the garden of a house in Derry Hill some time between Monday, August 7 and Wednesday, August 9.
Mr Les Goldman said: "The sculpture is called Leaf Form by the Bristol based sculptor Margaret Lovell. It is about 18" high, made of bronze set on a wooden plinth.
"It is one of an edition of nine made around 1968 and would be almost impossible to replace. It has great sentimental value as it was bought as a special birthday present for my wife.
"The sundial also has sentimental value as it was bought in memory of our late next door neighbour who was always very kind to us."
Anyone with information on the missing items is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting Crime Number 13170371050.
