A BRADFORD city centre pub will reopen tomorrow.
Bradford Brewery has taken over the Exchange Ale House, which has been empty for the past four years, on a lease from Trust Inns.
The Exchange, which is below the Wool Exchange in Market Street, had fallen into a state of disrepair and an extensive refurbishment is now being carried out.
The pub’s original vaulted brick barrel ceiling and flagstone floor, have been retained.
It will open tomorrow from noon and then be open seven days a week between 10.30am and 11pm.
The pub, run by manager Jagoda Lapaj, will also stage occasional music nights, comedy events, a quiz and other events at the venue.
She said: “It’ nice to have a city centre bar and it is a good place here. People remember the bar from before.”
Bradford Brewery will use the bar to showcase its Made of Bradford brand, selling a selection of keg and cask ales.
