A MAN in his sixties had to be taken to hospital with head injuries following a crash outside Bradford Interchange yesterday.
Police, an ambulance and an ambulance responder were called to the incident in Bridge Street in the city centre at 6.14pm.
Buses leaving the Interchange and traffic in Bridge Street was delayed due to the incident.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police were called to Bridge Street in Bradford at 6.14pm yesterday following a report of a collision with a pedestrian.
“A man in his sixties suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
“The injury was not thought to be life threatening.
“The driver of the car, a 21-year-old man, was spoken to at the scene by police officers.
“Enquiries are continuing.”
