POLICE have seized two cars from an uninsured driver who was stopped for dangerous driving.
West Yorkshire Police officers were on patrol in Girlington on Sunday when they attempted to stop a Toyota van. The driver refused to pull over, but was later stopped and the driver arrested for failing to stop for police, dangerous driving, no insurance and having no driving licence.
The officers also seized the vehicle.
The same driver had been seen the day before driving an Audi convertible in the same area. This vehicle was located by the officers and was also seized.
The driver was interviewed regarding the offences and has since been charged.
He will appear in court in the near future, and police say the vehicles will not be released to the driver.
