NEGATIVE RESPONSE: Passengers said that Northern Rail was one of the least trusted train companies in the country
THERE has been misery for rail commuters this morning as signalling problems led to trains to and from Bradford being cancelled or delayed.
Issues at Skipton are causing disruption to trains between Skipton and Leeds, meaning trains between Bradford Forster Square, Ilkley, Shipley and Leeds are being effected.
National rail says delays of around 30 minutes, and in some cases cancellations, were expected for many during the morning commute.
A spokesman for National Rail said: "We anticipate a good service will be operating by approximately 8am."
National Rail has since pushed that estimate back to 8.30am.
