Heater left on in vacant house sparks fire
A HEATER started a house fire after being left on in the cellar of a vacant property undergoing renovation.
Fire engines from Fairweather Green and Bradford fire stations were called to the terraced house, in Bilton Place, Bradford, at 3.51pm today.
The house was left heavily smoke-logged but the blaze did not cause much damage.
A fire service spokesman urged people to make sure heaters were not left unattended.
