POLICE were called to the scene of an assault next to a park on the outskirts of Bradford city centre earlier today.
Officers attended Maudsley Street, on its junction with Upper Seymour Street, at 1.50pm following reports of an assault.
They found a man, believed to be in his twenties, who had been assaulted in the street, which is next to Seymour Park.
Ambulances were called to the scene, although West Yorkshire Police said the extent of the man's injuries remain unclear.
A police spokesman said: "Police are still at the scene, and inquiries are ongoing."
