HUNDREDS of people headed to Queensbury on Saturday for the village’s annual 1940s day.
Chapel Street was transported back 70 years for the event, which featured live music, stalls, and vintage vehicles and memorabilia from the 1940s.
Performing throughout the day were the Queensbury Music Centre Band, Revolution Show Band, Queensbury Singers, Queensbury Performing Arts, the Holy Trinity Church choir, Christopher and the Robins, and Kitty Lamare, who also sang at the evening show at Queensbury Conservative Club.
Local residents donned their best historic clothes, with period dresses and hats on show in the glorious sunshine.
